Wednesday, March 16, 2022- Politics of Somaliland:-1-A peaceful transition or transfer of power is a concept important to democratic governments in which the leadership of a government peacefully hands over control of government to a newly-elected leadership  and that is what the Somaliland leaders and the people did since 1991.

Somaliland has a multi-party system and there are three official parties at the national level such as Kulmiy,Waddani and UCID.1-Kulmiye means -Peace, Unity, and Development Party).2-Wadani means-Somaliland National Party.3- UCID means-Justice and Welfare Party.

House of Representatives in Somaliland.

The House of Representatives is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of the Somaliland, with the House of Elders being the upper house.Furthermore,Parliamentary elections were held in Somaliland on 31 May 2021, alongside local district elections.The election was Somaliland's first parliamentary election since 2005, and politicians pointed to the election as evidence of its political stability.Three parties – such as Somaliland National Party (Waddani), the centre-left Justice and Welfare Party (UCID), and the ruling party, the Kulmiye Peace, Unity, and Development Party – put forward close to 250 candidates who competed for 82 seats in the House of Representatives.More than one million people, out of millions residents in  Somaliland registered to vote. and finaly On 6 June, the National Electoral Commission (NEC) announced the result. 1-Waddani had received a plurality of seats with 31.2-Kulmiye received 30, and UCID received 21.The current House of Representatives is a elected parliamentary,after people elected their representatives.

Somaliland peace and stability.

The role of Somaliland elders in making and keeping peace is that Somaliland kept their or  its own traditional conflict both management and mechanisms in place and these values and norms were not disrupted. These great opportunity make Somaliland to reconcile their own  people and have nurtured mutual trust and dialogue to get a peace everyone in Somaliland.

Somaliland government system:- Like any other countries around the world the president of Somaliland is the head of state and head of government .The president is also commander-in-chief of the Somaliland Armed Forces. The president represents the Government of Somaliland.

after all  Somaliland is a strategic location or another word strategic advantage.

So what do you think about Somalia?, where there is no political parties, no election agreement,no peace at all,no official government,cause Somali political crisis is a major political crisis and turmoil within the Somali government after the current leaders both president and parliament term ended more than one year.there is a Power Struggle Between Somali Leaders and no one cares about what is gonna happen in the future if there is no government in  Somalia.what do you think the different between Somalia and Somaliland political systems?.
