ABU DHABI —Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in the United Arab Emirates for the first time in nearly a decade, as ties improve between the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and H.E. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan witnessed the exchange of 13 cooperation agreements, memorandums of understandings and protocols between several Emirati entities and their Turkish counterparts.
Also The two countries also signed 10 security, economic and technological agreements, according to the official UAE news agency.President Erdogan arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday on a two-day official visit to the UAE. The Turkish President was received by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
